Credit Clean up that works!

For years we offered Free credit clean up to clients so they could purchase a home.  We were able to get a lot of them in  new homes by cleaning up their credit, actually 100% of them who didn’t give up and get discouraged.    It seemed like a a great program and a wonderful thing  for them when we reached that goal. Sadly the majority of them ended up losing their homes.  We felt very sad that they had to go through the trauma and having their credit right back where it was or Worse.  We felt like maybe this wasn’t such a blessing for them. That’s when we changed our credit clean up program.  We added education on how to create new habits and wise money principles that would let them have a change of thinking… spending less than...

Solutions for Saving

So often we think that saving for that dream home, dream car or education is down the road when we get a windfall, less bills or a better job.  It doesn’t have to be that way!  Saving  money can happen right now with no change in your income at all.  We are all sitting on windfalls!  Where?  In our cupboards, fridge, basement and storage.  The money you don’t waste is money you can put in savings… Did you know that by turning your sour cream & cottage cheese cartons upside down in the fridge you can lengthen their quality and keep bacteria from getting in and spoiling the food?   Did you know that if you store your milk in the back corner of your fridge, never in the the door you can go well beyond expiration date with no loss of...

It is more important than how much money you have, how much you owe, what you would like to do or where you want to go. You cannot design the circumstances of your life. But you can tailor make your attitude in response to...

Time Flies, but don’t worry! You can soar!

As I contemplated on how quickly January melted away, unlike the snow still sitting on my lawn.  I wondered why I am  so fixated on this time flying phenomenon.  It has done it for years!  Why act surprised?  Why not concentrate on the soaring I am capable of. Pig eating apples…

I remember as a child how often I was told to say thank you.  My mom would say don’t be like a pig eating apples, never looking up to see where they came from.  I am so grateful for a mom that taught me to be grateful.  It has my life very full of joy.  At the time I didn’t realize that she was  also teaching me a way of happiness.  There is nothing that brings genuine happiness easier than recognizing what we have rather than what we don’t have.
